flashback.

'Her BP n heart rate's going down.' it all felt so ethereal, like i was standing there n hearing it all, but at the same time, not. saw her eyes darting all across the room. like it was a new place. a place she had never been before.

'come on, try to move the stupid beeper thing, maybe it'll work.' i pleaded. praying for the best. hoping it would not turn out to be the worst. praying for the impossible to happen. it was time. her time.

'it wont work, i tried already.' i proceeded to put on the stupid beeper thing, n found it to be working perfectly fine.

putting my hand close to hers, i found her hand cold as ice. like it had been sapped of life. just a cold, lifeless thing. tears trickled down my face, it was happening. she was gonna leave us. forever.

flashbacks of happy memories flooded my head. memories about those delicious snacks. n those peaceful nap times. all disappeared. into oblivion. emptiness.

the color of blood drained from her face. i knew then that she had left. holding back my tears, i kissed her goodbye forever. maybe it was release after 4 yrs of torture.

they came. n took her away in a stretcher. she was draped in white. we sent her off to her final journey.
