lotsa stuff's happened...
lotsa stuff's happened over the week... and finally its the long awaited holidays. though it doesnt seem much like a holiday since we have to go back to school for 2 weeks. but anyway. a recount of this week's happenings...mother went to the market to buy some groceries this weds. imagine the shock she got when she opened her wallet and found it empty. clean swept. not a single cent remained. not even those receipts you'd get after u've swiped ur credit card at the cashier's. she was very upset over it, because she had just gone to the bank to withdraw $1000 2 days before. and also dad's friend paid my dad $800 USD back, plus another personal 800 USD in the wallet. all of it went missing. coincidentally, on the same day my sister lost $30, and i lost $100 a few months back. mother suspected that it was the maid, and sent her back to the agency. so for now we dont have a maid, and we do our own housework e.g. sweeping floor, washing dishes and clothes etc etc. anyway. just this thursday mother went to file a police report. we went through her stuff and like, found some evidence that was enough to build a case against her, but not incriminating enough to put her to jail. we found this paper plate that the maid wrote on, she wrote:

then some numbers. it looked like she was converting money. but we didnt find only that, we also found those Starhub prepaid top up cards, not just one, but many. where'd she get the cash to buy those from? mother pays the agency the maid's salsry cos the maid owes the agency money. therefore the maid doesnt have any money on her. how did she get the money to buy those prepaid cards? also, we found a note, which was so interesting i had to take a pic of it and post it here. according to the maid next door, somwtime last wk at 6.30 am after mother had left to send me n my sis to the bus stop, she saw a bangala worker in a sarong walk to my house gates and pass a note to the maid. among her belongings we found the note,posted below...
