Guess Who's Back!
So.Back from my trip to The Philippines. Quite a few interesting things happened during my stay there. During the first 2 nights, we stayed at The Holiday Inn, Galleria.
Room 2803! The highest floor... Wow. It was a suite room!
The room even had a rose. Haha. So cool! The best part of the room was...
My very own study table. Haha. However, since I was sharing the room with my dad and sis, I had to sleep on the couch since I stayed up till quite late to do my physics tuition work. I'm quite a good boy eh. O.o The view from the windows of the room was quite breath-taking, but the pics I took are in my dad's phone, guess i'll upload them another time. Not much pics were taken, cause Les's phone died on the 2nd day. -_-! On the 1st nite of
Visited my paternal grandmother on the 2nd day. Lunch at her place. The food was great, as usual, but the duck soup was super bitter. Grandma said she specially prepared it for me. Medicine inside was supposedly for growing taller. O.o Not wanting to waste her efforts, I emptied the contents of the bowl into my stomach. Bloody nose after that cos it was too nourishing. LOL. Gloria Maris for dinner, again. -_- With my dad's business friend.
Stayed at my Uncle's place on the 3rd and 4th nights. I like his place, it's cool. (: Not to mention the fun I had with my cousins late night, gambling, PSP-ing, PS2-ing. So not much work was done during these nights, actually. Sad huh. =(
Went to visit my maternal grandmother's grave on the 3rd day. Really really miss everything about her. I wish she were still alive. I wish I could still hear her voice and see her motherly smile, but I guess it's impossible to. More Gloria Maris, this time my parents' treat all of my relatives in Philippines for taking such good care of my mother.
Went to Time Zone with my cousins for some entertainment on the 4th day of my stay. Was playing the basketball machine thingy with my cousin and sis. Halfway during the game, my sis hit someone with the basketball. He seemed to be in a hurry. Turns out he stole somebody's handbag and was running away. Since we were unaware of it, we did not, in any way, try to inhibit his movement. After that incident, we were at Kenny Roger's for dinner, and my guilt-ridden sis was having a conversation with us.
Pauline(sis) : "Aiyah, I should have hit the guy harder with the basketball. How could such a thing happen right under my nose..."
Arthur (cousin): "Forget about it, it wasn't any fault of yours."
Patrick (cousin): "Whoa, what if he'd turn around and hit you instead?"
Les: O.o "We were there anyway, we could've killed him if they attacked my sis. He's smaller in size compared to you and me."
Lesley(sis): "Aiyah, if you could prevent every crime from happening, i'd call you Superwoman."
LOLS. -_-!
And we went bowling after dinner. Bowling's fun, especially if everyone's lousy like me. HAHAHA. :D The scoresheet screen's funny. It plays dumb animations whenever you score a strike, spare, or gutter.
5th day, the day of departure. Left my Uncle's place at 10am, for my grandma's place. Lunch again, and she prepared more soup! >.< So I had more soup into my stomach. And we went to Shoe Mart(SM) Mall of Asia. The place's big, big big. OMG big. I think it's around twice the length of Suntec. But anyway, since Les isn't much of a shopaholic, I went with my dad to Trader's Hotel for spa instead. HAHA. So cool. The sauna room. Okay, maybe not cool temperature-wise. But still it was a cool place. The jacuzzi! Woo hoo! Shiatsu massages rock! I love spas! NOT SCIENCE PRACTICAL EXAMS.
Got home at like 10.30pm. Gosh. I almost miss this place. HAHA. JUST KIDDING.
