Weakness Vs Resolve.
When I was a kid, Mom taught us to be kind, to help a friend whenever we can, to live, and let live.
I subscribed strongly to that teaching. I try to be nice, all the time... I help out whenever I can, even at my own expense, sometimes... It's also the reason, why I never chose to defend myself, most of the time. Defending one's self would usually lead to confrontation. I'd just let most stuff pass, unless it was too damaging to the pride. Heck, as if I have any pride to speak of. Lol.
Anyway, back to main point. Some people (mainly people like Mom) see this as a strength. It is, as they say, a strong resolve. A will of iron, if you understand what I mean.
Sadly, most of the outside world think it's a weakness. I'm ashamed to say I feel there is more cause to incline towards the latter, after years of practical use. Most people usually take advantage, if not, exploit.
And in the modern world, being weak, or openly displaying signs of weakness, is a sin.
Goodbye, Weakness.
Thy Sins be Cleansed.
